Who we are

This website is run by The Jewel Vault Co. We are responsible for the personal information and the terms described here. You can contact us through our enquiry form.

This website is a catalogue

You can browse our pieces, save them to a wishlist or a cart in your own browser, and send us an enquiry or an order request. You cannot pay on this website, and an order request is not a purchase.

Nothing on this website is an offer to sell. Prices, descriptions and the pieces shown are an invitation to enquire, and can change or be withdrawn at any time without notice.

How a sale is made

A sale happens only when we have confirmed to you in writing (by email) the piece, its price, any tax and delivery charges, how to pay, how and when it will be delivered, and the returns and cancellation terms for that sale, and you have accepted them.

Those written terms govern the sale. We will never ask for card or bank details by email in a way that is not part of those agreed terms.

Prices

Prices on this website are shown in US dollars. Any tax, duty and delivery charges are confirmed in writing before you agree to buy.

Descriptions and photos

We describe the metal, karat and stones of each piece as accurately as we can, and confirm them again in writing before any sale.

Photos marked as representative show the style of a piece, not the exact item; ask us for photos of the piece itself. The photos are used under open licences, listed on our photo credits page.

Every piece is sold as The Jewel Vault Co's own. We do not sell pieces as made by, certified by or connected with any other brand.

Using this website

You may use this website for your own personal, lawful use. The design, text, logo and product descriptions belong to us; the photos belong to their creators and are used under their licences. Please do not copy them for commercial use without permission.

Links to other websites, such as photo sources, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

Our responsibility

We take care to keep this website accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be error free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss caused by relying on the website alone; anything you rely on for a purchase will be confirmed in writing first.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example if we add online ordering. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. A sale already agreed in writing stays under the terms agreed for it.
